The Apparition released in movie theaters today. This supernatural movie features a typical horror movie hook ending. If you haven't watched The Apparition yet, beware the ending spoiler will be revealed.
Patrick dies. Ben and Kelly leave their home. In a remote location up in the mountains, Patrick formed a barrier to keep the apparition from attacking his mind. We hear Patrick's experiment tapes play to confirm this research.
The apparition is revealed as an entity older than any demon and or ghost spirit. It is an entity that goes far back in ancient times. Ben and Kelly find the electromagnetic cage that protects against the apparition. They enter the cage to keep safe.
While inside the cage, Kelly realizes that Ben is missing. How does Ben leave the cage? Kelly finds herself searching for Ben, convinced that he is lost in the home.
Kelly opens a door to find Ben submerged into the wall. His mouth is wide open. He appears already dead. Kelly is upset. With any further delay, she exits the home as fast as she can.
In front of the cabin, the truck sinks into the ground. Kelly watches her best chance to leave evaporate in a muddy grave. She runs into the woods to escape the apparition. Running out of breath, Kelly stops near a tree. She looks to a tree, where the apparition seems to enter him.
On the top of a hill in Canyon Country, California, Kelly looks down at Costco. It is still early morning. She has fresh scratches on her face. She makes her way inside the empty shopping center.
Kelly follows the same path as in the opening setup. She walks along the row, tired and depleted of energy. Kelly finds a tent. She enters the tent and zips it up. In tears, Kelly sits quietly. Old ancient hands begin, several in fact, begin to reach from the back to the front.
One last hand wraps around Kelly's mouth. She loses her ability to breathe. It is implied that she is suffocating. The screen fades to black.
The movie ends.
